Ms. McDonald has an extensive litigation background in the areas of default servicing, commercial, construction, insurance coverage and personal injury litigation. She began her legal career in New York in 1992, where she focused primarily on insurance and reinsurance coverage litigation. Warmer weather and relatives drew her to Florida in 1995 where she continued her practice, focusing on complex commercial litigation and business law. After starting a family, she accepted a position as staff attorney for the Civil Circuit Court Judges in Pinellas County, Florida. As a staff attorney she continued to develop her litigation and research skills while working closely with her assigned Judges. This allowed her to increase her comfort in the courtroom and her litigation proficiency. Ms. McDonald has a diverse background, but focuses primarily on civil litigation and contested foreclosure litigation.
Ms. McDonald is an avid equestrian and she loves to travel. She spends her free time with her two teenage sons and their assorted pets, including four dogs, three cats and a horse.
