Alexis was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida and attended Braden River High School. Alexis then attended the University of Florida and graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree in Criminology.
Upon graduation, Alexis attended Belmont College of Law in Nashville, Tennessee. During her time at Belmont Law, Alexis served as an Executive Board member of Belmont Law Review, a member of the American Association for Justice’s Mock Trial team, an Executive Board member of the Student Bar Association, Vice President of the Criminal Law Society, and a member of the Legal Aid Society. Additionally, Alexis was awarded the highest-grade designation in International Criminal Law and was on the Dean’s list multiple semesters. Alexis earned her Juris Doctorate in May of 2024 and was admitted to the Florida Bar shortly after.
During her education, Alexis worked at multiple government agencies including the Gainesville Public Defender’s Office, The Tennessee Attorney General’s Office, and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Tennessee. In these roles. She gained hands-on experience with clients in a vast array of cases in both criminal and civil law.

Alexis is a resident of St. Petersburg, Florida, where she enjoys going to the beach, exercising, and spending time with her golden retriever puppy and family.
